Empowering Rural Women: Government Launches 3-Month National Entrepreneurship Campaign to Drive 'Lakhpati Didi' Mission

The extended initiative under DAY-NRLM aims to upskill 5 lakh SHG women, promote digital e-commerce adoption, and build self-sustaining rural enterprises.

 

 

The Ministry of Rural Development has officially launched the second phase of its landmark 'National Campaign on Entrepreneurship' under the flagship Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). Running over a focused three-month period through November 21st, the nationwide initiative is designed to accelerate rural women’s enterprise development and directly advance the government’s ambitious vision of creating 6 crore (60 million) 'Lakhpati Didis'.
